iPad Hacked in less than a Day 2:00
We called it even before rumors of hacking were going on, and we figured that it would be hacked early.  Last week a hacker claimed that he had it hacked prior to launch and he pretty much hacked it as soon as he got it.  That means itís really not nothing new or innovative and has all the same vulnerabilities as the iPhone and iPod Touch.  Sucks for Apple.

13 Glaring iPad Shortcomings 5:45
If you decide to get one of these iPads, make sure that you can live with all of the shortcomings.  These include a super-glaring screen that prevents you from using it anywhere near a large light source Ė like the sky.

Apples Sells 300,000 iPads on Launch Day 16:21
Not only did Apple sell 300,000 iPads, they also sold 250,000 iBooks and 1 Million Apps.  Thatís huge sales for the Big Apple.

JooJoo Tablet Gets 90 Pre-Orders 18:00
With all of the lawsuits surrounding the JooJoo, Fusion Garage had to release some numbers that show the number of pre-orders.  Iím sure that they wanted to keep these quiet as they only had 90 Ė and had to refund 15 because they were taking so longÖ  Thatís embarrassing and Iím sure that Apple is loving that publicity.

Will it blend? iPad Loving

The HP Slate is Everything the iPad Isnít 21:50
The HP Slate is a Windows 7 based device that has USB ports, cameras, SD slots and a lot more.  One thing it doesnít have is the 10 hours of battery life that the iPad seems to be able to deliver.  If you want a portable computer and not just an app-platform, itís not a bad way to go.

Why the iPad Strengthens Amazonís Position 26:19
Kindle books will still be available on the iPad and are cheaper than the iBook versions.  Also keep in mind that an iBook will be compatible with only Apple products while the Amazon eBooks can be read on iPad, iPod, iPhone, PC, Mac, Kindle and more.

Random House Balks at Appleís Book Pricing 26:43
Good for Random House for not suckering into the ďscrew-the-consumerĒ philosophy of Appleís iBook catalog.  RH believes in serving the consumer, and is happy to release eBooks for less that paperback as they donít have materials cost.

90% of Windows Flaws Fixed By Removing Admin Rights 33:30
Although itís not surprising news, itís amazing at how much users suck.  According to Ars Technica, 90% of Windows problems can be fixed if people arenít allowed to muck with their computer.  If you have general user access, you have a lot better chance of keeping your gear together.
