Well need less to say I spent a little cash this weekend, but sold old ram and made some cash at shop sat so wont be so bad. (Till credit card bill shows up that is)
Anyways I will post some new benchies and what I think of new build later this week.  I cant wait to get everything install backing up data wont be as bad this time either with external harddrive and dvd burner.  Once all this is done I am going to get folding reinstalled and get back to pumping out some WU's.

Sounds like a nice rig man.  I look forward to your folding WU again.  We've been pretty stale for a while now.

Well after all the trouble of swapping out MBs and all the crap of hooking up found out my 3200 are defective.  So to say the least I was a little put out.  I will still keep the processor and sooner or later order some 3200 but I think I going to try a different brand.

The one good thing that did come out of it computer is much cleaner inside and outside now.

Geez, that sucks about your RAM.  I wouldn't think Corsair would be bad.

I kinda think it might have been cuase of the timings it says at site that it will but at the 2-2-2-5 timings no matter what.  It may have been screwing up the MB somehow.  But either way there going back and I will try again in a month or so, after I get a new computer case.

I just heard from a friend of mine that he is having the same problem with his corsair XMS ram on Gigabite board with a XP 3000. He says that he was told there was a problem with that ram at tight timing on AMD systems. He was told to use 2,3,3,6 timings instead..............He sent it back and got the new XL ram.
