|Performance and Conclusion|
Today we have a look at the Massive23 LX notebook cooler from Thermaltake. This is not their first cooler - nor is it likely to be their last as they seem to have a pretty decent handle on how to cool a laptop. The Massive23 LX is the lowest-cost of the "Massive" series and it retails for a mere $30 and provides the same cooling performance as the other coolers from Thermaltake. This once isn't as fancy as the others, but if you need a cooler to be just that - a cooler, it might be the best bang for the buck.

Massive23 LX - First Look:
I never actually requested to look at the Massive23 LX from Thermaltake - it just showed up randomly one day. I'm honestly glad it did. This is perhaps one of the most affordable coolers we've see, and this is due in part to its aluminum/steel/plastic construction. Many laptop coolers that are much more expensive are made from thick slabs of aluminum. The Massive23 LX has a very solid feel to it and uses three different materials to save money, maintain light weight and provide a low-cost product.
Another thing that saves the Massive23 LX a few bucks is the lack of adjustable fan and USB ports. This is a very serviceable cooler, but it's a little low on features. That being said, it has a couple of features that are worth noting. We'll take a closer look on the next page.
