Microsoft's Surface isn't selling...

In the "That's not surprising" news story of the day, The New York Times is reporting that the Microsoft Surface only sold 1 Million units in Q4. No one really expected them to sell a ton of these units but the numbers are even lower than expected. If you want to compare these numbes to the iPad, Apple sold 3 million iPads in the first 3 days it was released.

Microsoft’s Surface tablet has been on the market for nearly three months. So far, not so good.

Brent Thill, an analyst at UBS Investment Research, estimates that Microsoft sold just one million Surface tablets in the fourth quarter — half his original estimate of two million. Some other analysts estimate that sales were even lower.
