Next Gen Xbox Rumors

Most Xbox fans are already looking forward to see what Microsoft has in store for the Xbox 360's replacement. So far some of the rumors we've been hearing haven't been the greatest, mainly since it is being reported that you won't be able to play used games (or loan your friends you games) as they will only be allowed to be registered once on one system. That rumor is still out there and now it is being rumored that you will need an internet connection if you want to use your system which as expected isn't getting gamers very excited. Kotaku has more details on these rumors.

A new Edge report suggests that Microsoft's next Xbox gaming console, code-named Durango, will require an Internet connection to use. It also won't be able to play used games, Edge says.

We have not been able to confirm the veracity of this new report, which claims that Durango discs will ship with one-time-use activation codes that render them irrelevant to anyone but the person who first uses them.
