Android App Pick - Pianist HD

Application: Pianist HD

Good evening to you all. This week we remembered our heros with Remembrance Day in Canada and Veterans Day in the USA. At BCCHardware we remember the troops that have fought to keep us free - both in the past and currently deployed. The land of the free is free because of those that fight for it. Our National Anthem tells about our “True North Strong and Free.”  Thankfully we are free and can enjoy technology like Android Apps like Pianist HD. Be the next Beethoven or Mozart and write up your own music or practice up on your piano skills.

This app is a bit like a game like but it is also a  fun learning app as well. Once you get to know the app it helps you learn to play as well as make your own music. You can go through tutorial mode to get an idea how to play and use the app. Click the song book and pick a tune to follow along the when the keys light up. Swipe the piano left and right to move to the next set of keys. You can also pick the type of instrument you want your piano to sound like. You have options that include drums, an organ, accordion and guitar. Thankfully I never saw bagpipes as a choice. That probably wouldn't go over well for your audience if they've heard Ross Geller's piping skills. Record, mix and play around in the settings. Finally, you can change the settings to allow you to play duets with your friends on your tablet.
