6 Fond Memories from Windows 95

I remember the launch of Windows 95. It was amazing. It was the most extreme upgrade Microsoft Windows has ever undergone and there were a few other things that made it so memorable. There is a short list of 6, that I'd have to agree with as I used it long after Windows 98 was released as I didn't have the patience to do the upgrade or install via floppy disks.

Windows 95 had the command prompt version of DOS built-in, but was rarely sufficiently equipped to play games or other native DOS applications properly. Sometimes there was no choice but to reboot and go into real DOS, complete with autoexec.bat and config.sys files to drive everything correctly. Sometimes the old ways were the best...
