Nintendo NX - It's not about the specs

This year at E3, Nintendo opted against revealing the upcoming Nintendo NX console. Of course since there was no official announcement questions were being asked as people are genuinely curious about what Nintendo has up their sleeves. In response to the barrage of questions, Nintendo's North American president came out and said that for Nintendo it's not about the specs, the teraflops, or the horsepower, it's all about the content. Now that all sounds fine and dandy but I think everyone remembers the Wii U that launched without much content at all...

Nintendo is more focused on delivering great content rather than making its next console, codenamed NX, a technical powerhouse, according NoA president Reggie Fils-Aime.

When asked how Nintendo NX will stack up against Sony and Microsoft's forthcoming hardware revisions—namely PlayStation 4 NEO and Xbox One Scorpio—Fils-Aime told Bloomberg): "For us, it's not about specs, it's not about teraflops, it's not about the horsepower of a particular system. For us, it's about the content."
