Camera Testing:

The camera on the V30 is very nice as it has a HDR10 capable Sony IMX351 CMOS sensor. It can handle HDR like a champ as well as wide any shots from the f/1.6 lens. The wide angle lens captures an incredible 120° Field of View and the standard lens manages a more natural 70° Field of View. The camera is capable of great auto settings but also features a full manual array. Full control of focus, shutter speed, ISO, white balance and exposure are available. Both front a rear cameras feature a digital zoom. Overall, the image quality is fantastic as you can see below.

The samples below have been shot with the standard LG camera app and haven't been retouched in any way at all. They have been pulled off the camera and backed up to my Google account for you to enjoy. Click on the images below to view them on Google Plus with the ability to zoom in.

As far as video goes, the V30 is more than capable as it offers 4K video recording, 1080p at up to 60fps and slow-motion 720p video at 240fps. We've had almost 5 straight months of snow here at BCCHQ South, so the testing was done in a pretty white world.

On the next page, we'll touch briefly on a few other odds and ends and then post up our conclusion.
