Super Talent Project X DDR3-1800 Memory - Test Setup:

In this section we will have the setup of the system for our testing. I have provided separate configurations for each of the speeds we have tested (1066, 1333, 1600, 1700 and 1800 Mhz). It is important to note that in order to achieve some of these speeds at which we have tested this memory; overclocking the FSB is required, which in turn increases our CPU clock speeds. For all my testing I allowed the ASUS Maximus Extreme motherboard to determine the timings that each test was run at.

Super Talent Project X DDR3-1800 Memory - Test Setup (1066Mhz Testing):

For 1066Mhz testing, the CPU is left at stock speeds, and the timings are a tight 6-5-5-12. These timings are very impressive for DDR3, as other DDR3 we've tested has been 7-7-7-20, so there is quite a difference.

Super Talent Project X DDR3-1800 Memory - Test Setup (1333 Mhz Testing):

For 1333Mhz testing I have left the multiplier at 11x, so the chip is running just under 3.7 Ghz, which is a fair overclock. Timings remain very tight at 7-6-6-18.

Super Talent Project X DDR3-1800 Memory - Test Setup (1600 Mhz Testing):

Now we are getting to higher FSB settings, and at 1600Mhz I dropped the multiplier of the CPU down to 8x, which still has the CPU running at 3.2Ghz (Stock is 2.93Ghz). Timings are still very low at 7-6-6-18, which is very impressive when compared to other manufactures of DDR3.

Super Talent Project X DDR3-1800 Memory - Test Setup (1700 Mhz Testing):

Pretty much the same settings as 1600Mhz, Multiplier is at 8x, CPU is at 3.4Ghz, and the timings only rose slightly to 7-7-7-21, which is still very decent.

Super Talent Project X DDR3-1800 Memory - Test Setup (1800 Mhz Testing):

For 1800Mhz testing, I am pushing my X6800 to the very limits, I've done other testing in the past and 450 FSB is the absolute maximum I've been able to achieve with my particular CPU. Stock timings for the Super Talent memory @ 1800 Mhz is 7-7-7-21, however my setup would not allow me to run at those speeds, and I was forced to go to 8-7-7-21 speeds instead. The difference between stock timings and the timings I ran at were very similar and not going to make much difference. CPU speeds are 3.6Ghz, with an 8x multiplier. Unfortunately due to limitations of my CPU I am unable to go any further with my testing, but overclocking from 266Mhz to 450 Mhz isn't too bad at all (almost 70% overclock from stock FSB speeds)
