NZXT Beta Evo Final Thoughts:

The NZXT Beta Evo isn't the flashiest case we've ever tested by any means, in fact it's actually pretty simple, however in the case of the Beta Evo, simple is good. The NZXT Beta Evo isn't going to blow you away with features or crazy styling, but when you consider the reasonable price tag of the Beta Evo case and the quality construction, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

The quality of the case is really what makes it a great choice, it's a really solid case and should be able to stand up to any abuse you throw at it. While the styling and design might not be as fancy as some other (more expensive) cases, I think that a lot of consumers will appreciate the simplicity of this case and the sleek design will appeal to a broader audience than some other "gamer-themed" cases might.

The airflow in the Beta Evo shouldn't be a problem thanks to the abundance of room for fans (you can install up to 6 120mm fans), so depending on how much heat your system generates you can install extra fans if you need and gives you the option to add more cooling down the road if need be.

The value of the Beta Evo is pretty decent for what you get (at time of publishing the Beta Evo could be found online for ~$59.99 USD). The lack of included fans is probably the biggest drawback for some, however for the enthusiast who has some fans kicking around or has a particular brand they like to use this case could be a great choice since you aren't paying for fans that you will just be removing and replacing. When comparing the Beta Evo to the last NZXT case (Lexa S) that we reviewed (full review can be found here) the value is a little bit less considering the Lexa S comes with 4 120mm fans as well as a built in fan controller although the Lexa S does retail for approx. $20.00 dollars more (Approx. ~$79.99).

At the end of the day the Beta Evo case from NZXT has scored very well in our testing here at BCCHardware. The features and quality you get with the NZXT Beta Evo are very good when you consider the extremely affordable price tag (~$59.99 USD), and thanks to that we've awarded the NZXT Beta Evo with our "Editor's Choice - Silver" award.
