Xbox One to be 40% Smaller than Original
« on: June 12, 2016, 10:36:40 pm »
Rumor has it that the new Xbox One Slim will be a mere 60% of the size of the original. The slimmed down version comes - not as a major upgrade to the Xbox One - but as a minor step up as they trim off the fat. The more powerful Xbox One is not expected until late 2017 - but if Microsoft were to release a more powerful unit now, I'm sure they'd actually gain a fair bit of ground in the console war.

The Slim, which is code-named Edmonton, will have a 2TB hard drive and be significantly smaller (40%) than the original Xbox One. It’ll also support 4K video. We believe it’ll be out in the next couple of months, perhaps in August.Source: Kotaku
