Title: Nintendo Launched TVii
Post by: Zeus on December 25, 2012, 09:43:37 PM
In a desparate effort to get you to spend money on an under-powered, graphically lame, overpriced Nintendo WiiU, Nintendo has just launched their TVii servies that pushed TV to your WiiU.  They are using the GamePad as the universal remote, but this sucks when your battery dies all the time.  GamesRadar has more details (http://www.gamesradar.com/nintendo-tvii-launches-december-20-n-america/).

TVii integrates cable or satellite services along with separate streaming subscriptions--Nintendo used combining content from a Comcast cable subscription and Hulu Plus membership as an example. Amazon Instant Video is also available, and Netflix and TiVo service integration are expected in early 2013 in the U.S.
