If you need to have the fastest web browser around then here is some good news for you. Firefox 4 is apparently faster (make that much faster) then before. CNET takes a look at all things Firefox 4 and if you are willing to use a beta browser then you might want to go get yourself Firefox 4 before its official release.

I actually like the new beta, its really good. I've actually stopped using chrome in favor of Firefox. The only thing is that most add-ons aren't compatible yet  :(

Today marks the launch of Netflix in Canada.  While this is their streaming-only service, the usage of internet streamed content is probably more popular anyhow.  It looks like for $7.99 a month, you have access to a bunch of stuff including Superbad and Mad Men.  There is quite a bit of content that you should check out - especially since you can enjoy 1 month free.  Sign up at [a hre. . .

Whats the quality like for netflix? any good?

BenchmarkReviews kicks off the morning with a look at a $75 CPU  from AMD that can get the job done.  This little dual-core wonder clocks in at 3.1GHz and doesn't use a whole lot of power to make it happen.  If you are on a budget and need a general purpose PC, consider powering it with one of these.

My opinion of AMD has changed significantly over the last year or so...I used to scorn AMD and now I'm promoting them to friends.  :)

I got a tweet yesterday from @Zune that there was interesting stuff coming soon from Zune.  Apparently, the interesting stuff is in the flavor of a 64GB Zune HD.  Although it isn't actually available yet, and in fact the link is currently broken over at Zune.net, you can head on over and keep clicking  until the details emerge.

come on! bring these babies to Canada!

://tech-reviews.co.uk/news/sml680244440Call-of-Duty-Modern-Warfare-2.It appears that Infinity Ward is trying to appease people with a map pack for their latest title - Modern Warfare 2.  While this sounds great - 3 new maps and two old favorites, it appears that the map pack may be released exclusively for Xbox 360 users - at least initially.  What is more, it will set you back 8. . .

Well, not all is lost, even though they are releasing it on the xbox360 first (money grab) after 30 days "exclusivity" they will release it on the PC and PS3.

We've dumped on the iPad from Apple and it has certainly received a ton of press - both negative and positive.  If you've been dying for one of these - the wait is over.  Well, not quite, but the wait to spend your money is over.  You can now pre-order your favorite iPad - WiFi only or WiFi + 3G.  3G will set you back an extra $130 no matter what size you choo. . .

Haha! just an oversized iPhone! I bet you that someone will create a phone out of that thing.

Good news for Nvidia fans, the newest DirectX 11 compatible video cards from the green team are going to be launched on March 26, 2010. The GTX 480/470 series of cards are based on the "Fermi" platform (GF100) and should be pretty decent if you want top end performance. HotHardware has more on the launch, the rumors, and the known facts of the GF100 cards over here. [. . .

Is it just me or aren't these cards the same ones that had a less than 2% turnout rate from manufacturing?

Microsoft has confirmed that they are releasing a new search engine, and they've decided to call it "Bing". The name is a little different, but the public is finally going to get a chance to try it out as it will be released June 3, 2009. Follow the link on over for more info.

It seems that a new Nikon Point-And-Shoot camera that has blink detection has issues with Asian people.  It's one of those things that you think a Japanese camera company would work on before then shipped it out.  It is kinda funny, but not at the same time.  Nikon S630 FAIL.

After last weeks false alarm of Windows 7 RC being available to Technet and MSDN subscribers, the release when out and said that it wouldn't be available until May 5.  Yesterday, it showed up early (or late if you wanted it last week) and is now available for download.  Head on over to your Technet account and get it while the getting is good.

://farm4.static.flickr.com/3395/3489806717_6556f9f65d.

Just finished installing Windows 7 onto my main machine in a dual boot, took me 12 minutes for the actual install, lot more time to do all the customization and programs but I'm really liking it so far! Most programs that say they work with vista work with 7 so its awesome!

It also installed every driver for my computer except for my audio controller!

I had to do a double take when I saw this article over at Gizmodo,  but its not a hoax, its an actual product. Basically what PediSedate does is hooks up a nitrous oxide machine to a Gameboy and allows dentists to distract kids with the Gameboy while they sedate them. Chances are good they could have come up with a better name and possibly a better picture and descri. . .

Haha I betcha some people would use that so that the could go to sleep!  ;D

ShackNews keeps our mind in the game  as they post up the video game releases of the week once again.  This time around it's pretty lean, but there are a couple of games worth checking out.

[blockquote]

   PC:

City of Heroes: Architect Edition, Cryostasis: The Sleep of Reason , Demigod, Demigod Collector's Edition

   PS2:

   Gui. . .

I heard that Demigod was a sad excuse for a game, I read some reviews and I was really looking forward to the game as Chris Taylor's next big project right? I loved the original Dungeon Siege, played the thing to death! But this one didn't seem that interesting as it was released. I dunno, any other thoughts?

Here is the perfect gift for that smelly gamer that you know who won't put down the controller long enough to take a shower, now you can trick them into thinking they are still playing Halo:
