Thanks. I've actually looked @ AlterIWnet or whatever its called. I bought the game as well, but don't see any issues "modifying" it to work on a LAN.

Hey guys, quick question, how did you get MW2 up and running in a LAN setting? Will your router keep all traffic local? We have tried before at some of our LAN parties, only running 2 computers through the internet hoping the router would keep all the traffic local after the game started, but no such luck.

Yes we know its Easter Weekend, however due to venue availability it was unfortunately our only choice for a weekend and due to our large power requirements we weren't able to go elsewhere. Hopefully for next year we can avoid having it on Easter weekend again.

Hmmm, too bad. I know myself and some other guys down here in Lethbridge simply cannot make it over Easter week-end. Oh well next year I guess.

Hey just want to know if it was intentionally planned over the Easter week-end?  I know Good Friday is a day off of work, but its going to to be a no-go with the family.

I guess the decsion not to have dedicated server ends the discussion on MW2. I cancelled my pre-order as soon as I heard that. I do believe Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is supposed to come out first week of March. That looks like a good LAN game.
