I hope these prices come down soon. I can't see myself paying $800 for a 32GB SSD

At least those are cheaper than the prices were in 1980 for a 18mb hard drive....

So far from using it I really don't think it would be worth it either, but I did happen to find it on NewEgg for $269.99. The only thing is that it's an open box item.

It would certainly be worth it if you're looking to fold. If I had the money I would probably build one for folding. Within the next couple years quad core prices will drop even more so it shouldn't be too hard too find a good deal.

Wow. That's some crazy stuff for only a home built system. I wonder how much the bill was for all of that.

Do you think it's really worth the $400-500 for the Reserator XT after using it?

I would rather have dial up than anything with Comcast.

It's Craptastic!

I guess I've been pretty luck. I've never really had any of my electronics break down on me. The only thing close was a XFX 680 SLI LT Motherboard that I ordered arrived DOA.

The article is from 2006, but I just saw it on Digg a few days ago.

This soft modding of the Xbox sounds like a possibility for me. Mine has just been sitting around collecting dust for years.
