Yes, this is what I discovered after 3 or 4 minutes of frustration.  Seems odd to me though.  I guess they figure 99.9% of users are not going to need or want the command prompt so they don't provide an easy link.
Is it going to become impossible to purchase ready made machines with anything other than Vista installed?  Or will they make XP an option for a while yet.

I appologize if a similar thread is in existence.

I had my first experience with Vista the other day and I HATED it.  I was installing for Wildrose and the customer had a brand new Dell notebook with Vista installed.  All I needed to do was look up the MAC for the wireless connection, but I simply couldn't find the command prompt.  I looked everywhere and couldn't find it.  Finally I ran a search for it and came up with the link that way.
In the process I eventually found the network connections, but that wasn't readily available either.

Perhaps this is just a bad first impression.  I can imagine it wouldn't take but a day or two or perhaps a week to familiarize oneself with the interface, but for the time being, I'm sticking with XP.

Anybody else have any experience with Vista?  Any thoughts?

My apologies fujitsu.  I actually thought you were the author as I was reading it, but when I double checked, I must of backed up and looked at the wrong review.  Well done anyway.

That article was nearly unbelievable.  I think I'll pass on the pampers for Fragga, this time anyway.

I was so disappointed when I didn't win the big ass water cooler at LANtabuluos, but alas, it was not to be.   However,  I'm still thinking about doing a complete system overhaul this summer, and as a result of my misfortunes, I'm going to be forced to purchase cooling with my own cash.

This review was quite interesting as I am in the same boat as Zeus, having never water cooled before.  Now I believe I shall give it a go.  After all, if a mere Greek god can install this Pandora's Box of refrigeration marvels, then so can I.

Now, I must decide what to do with this extra footage of tubing...  let me see...   I know, I can bring a 10 gallon barrel of diet raspberry coke to Fragga and use the tubing as a beverage transference conduit.  Then again, if I do that, I'll need another 3 or so feet of tubing to function as a catheter of sorts, draining my fluidic waste into a nearby resevoir.  Yes Yes, this way, I can remain seated for hours and hours at a time, thereby getting the absolute most out of my $75 buy-in.
On second thought, meh.

I know, I can fashion a neck-tight loop and fill it with freon.  Yes! it's a marketer's dream.  I will call it, The Neckl'ice!!  Or perhaps the 'Collar Cooler.'  NO wait, I've got it now....  'The Artic Choker.'
Ah, never mind, that's  stupid.

It just hit me!  I'll attach a tennis ball to one end and hang it from the rafters in my garage.  That way I'll know when to stop my car.  It'll save me hundreds of dollars in headlights annually!!

Well, there you have it.  I can't wait to get started.

as of 4:55 pm MST there are only 177 people registered for Fragga.  So you can still get in on those early bird draws.  HURRY

I've registered.  I have no idea what that weekend is going to look like this summer, but I'm going to try and make every effort to be there.  Come join me.  For Clan info, I've used the old VulClan.
