You may physically damage your CD-ROM drive by trying to install Linux. ATAPI specification would have been a good thing for LG to follow.

General Mayhem / catalyst 3.8 is NOT the bomb.

Not only is Zeus dropping  900 points in Aquamark. I have dropped in my Unreal Tournament 2003 from 130 fps in Antalus to (don't blink your reading this right) 19 fps. Just to make sure it wasn't chance, I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled the 3.7 catalyst's. My frames per second were back up to 130. Uninstalled drivers, reinstalled 3.8's and back down to 19 fps. I'm a little choked over this and I wonder what other crippling blows to OpenGL are going to come.

Stay away from the ATI 3.8 Catalysts.

I was wonding how to disable the windows 2000 virtual memory as I heard that could speed my game up. And when this is done do it always warn you when you start windows that there is no page file?
