2100 dpi is the resolution of my Boomslang 2100. Yes the MX 700 is 800 dpi. I only know one person who bought the MX700 and did not like the feel of it (he does like his MX500 though). And pledging my mouse pad was a BAAAAAD idea.

I think the secret is not to look at the slower computer and compare it to the faster ones. My Athlon XP2500+ takes about half an hour to make one point. My Celeron 400 takes 4.5 hours to make that same point. If I am really worried about making points, then I should stop playing on my 2500+ and install Command and Conquer on my Celeron. That way I will get more points out at the end of the day. If I shut off my Celeron.. then I will lose those 37 points a week. Now if I stop gaming I could gain another (3 hours a day at 1 point every 1/2 hour) 42 points. A gain of 5 points!

Poor Fujitsu. I noticed a setting that looked like you could have more than one unit queued up. I haven't looked any further as my net connection is working right now.

K & B Computers can get in some good quiet LG burners. You don't have to water cool them and they just sit there waiting.

20 days strait. Under clock the puppies just a bit and they should be fine.

I just remembered one lan party my friend left all his systems crunching and one system had a melt down. (his pump stopped working) It was a fluke but it can happen.

My goal is to hit 1 point above VE6JHC before Fujitsu gets that high.
Then I might retire and go back to hard core gaming.

Try assigning IP's to both machines. eg. 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2
Make sure File and print sharing is on.
Then share something.
Then sit back and drink tequilas.
