I remember playing that game! Nothing more frustrating than an Unreal Engine game without a shockrifle.
LoL I think I could play the game again now and enjoy it. Oh and I don't think it had dodge ether. Talk about being a sitting target. Now that I think of it, maybe it was my team mates :P

I think I've been playing with remote control batteries for too long. I forgot NiMH - Nickel Metal Hyrdride still existed. I like the idea of not needing the charger. Wonder how long they last in an xbox controller. I'm thinking how often I use the xbox, it would be 6 months..  ;D

General Mayhem / Re: [Frontpage News]Is it time to ditch Windows XP?
« on: June 13, 2010, 08:45:44 PM »
I was running Windows XP until my motherboard fried. Right now I am using a few Linux laptops. I know I will be back to Windows, because not that many of the games I own run on Linux. Now if/when Steam ports over to Linux..
I am using an old 3.8GHz Alianware laptop with gforce 6800 graphics. The laptop has a higher resolution than my desktop monitor!

I checked out Princess Auto. They only had one unit and it was going for $80.00
It did handle a higher range, but I don't think I need anything that much over 150C

Hey HooRah, I don't think all five posts need to be in this forum. Although this clip from the original post makes it look like that might be really what is happening. "have a minimum of 5 posts during in the forum during the month of May."
And if you listened to Weekly Tech Update Episode #50, Fujitsu says you just have to email them to enter this contest.
But I could have misheard the broadcast.  ???

For Sale/Trade / WTB Digital InfraRed Thermometer with Laser Sight
« on: May 30, 2010, 07:10:36 PM »
I am looking for a Digital InfraRed Thermometer with Laser Sight.
I found one online at dealextreme.comfor $30US plus free shipping!
I am just wanting something easier to use than taping a thermal probe to different spots on a motherboard.
So if anyone has one of these lying around and would like some more pocket change, I would be interested in buying it.

That would be justice Fujitsu. Oh no wait, Now if all the price hiked Warner Bros products were getting pirated..  >:D

You think your lazy Fujitsu... well that might be a hard to disprove. :P
I "just" started using DropBox. Other than that I am a twin to you Fujitsu.
It's been awhile since I had a consistent backup.
Oh Wait. My cellphone backs up every week! Oh ya I'm the backup king.

Your Episode #50 sounded great! I would have thought you guys were all in the same room. And not a 10X10 jail cell room ether.  ::)

Lets see, 5 posts in the next 5 days. Sitting here listening to my fans in my case (cause I am too lazy to reach around back and turn them down with the externally mounted fan controls). I was thinking a touch screen fan control would be nice. I know I don't need another case. My case is around 5 years old, but it doesn't have enough scratches in it yet.
And now that I see SoltoN has entered the race, I didn't want him to get a prize just by default :P
Lastly it's a rainy day outside. No yard work to take me away from the computer today.

LAN & General Gaming / Re: [Frontpage News]VulcLAN 2010 Aftermath
« on: April 07, 2010, 10:14:24 AM »
OK guys, I just finished getting my UnrealTournament 2004 server ready for the LANparty..

I had a great time again this year. Thanks Zeus and Fujitsu for putting on VulcLAN 2010. Second place in two tournaments with great teammates isn't to bad no? Way to go Nicao and Epithanatios for the first place win in Unreal Tournament 3. I hope to have the honour next year to challenge you for that title. And the Call of Duty 4 team with thier.. untiring submissive play style that gained them the victory. Thank you for the lesson in enduring and the Oreo Cookie!
A hats off to the sponsors of the event. I like free stuff  O0
Even with the added evening of gaming, there still wasn't enough time to play all the games I wanted to. Trackmainia will have to wait until the next LANparty.

Now with a number of new contacts in my steam account, I look forward to playing with everyone throughout the year, till the time we all meet again at VulcLAN 2011.

Last night I played some Unreal Tournament 3 TAM now known as Battle Team Arena (BTA).
It gave me goosebumps. I better get my server updated just in case it's needed.

That sounds great Fujitsu. Have you been practicing your moving shockcombo's on Facing Worlds?
You haven't? Man, we could have been something  :smitten: now they will never know.

Notes from the Shows / Re: CeBIT 2010 Special - Episode #37 - Day 1
« on: March 09, 2010, 07:40:37 AM »
Wow did I call it on the 10X10 cell. So the mic was picking up exactly what it was given (little room with acoustics)? Listened to Episode #38, you were sounding alot more professional Fujitsu. Ever thought of recording each side of the conversation locally and then combining it for the show? I don't even know if that is an option, just pulling ideas out of thin air. The only experience I have with recording is taking what ever is outputted from the soundboard at my church and making mp3's. I hope you guys bring the toys to VulcLAN to show off, and I could get some one on one tutoring :)

As good as you say that recorder you are using is, it sounds clearly bad. Unless you're in a 10X10 cell.. then maybe some outside recording would work better? any park benches with better acoustics maybe? All in all, I prefer the echo over the alternative of no Weekly Tech Updates from CeBIT.

I remember selling allot of Sceptre monitors. I still have a few pink and green plush monitor lizards around.
I would love to see that 3D video camera in action. I just saw Avatar the other day, maybe I could make my own 3D movie.
