 First to start by sayin that BCC is the best source ive found for most of  those dumb little Q&A's of mine.....great site guys!  ..2nd, just a hello. Im sure ill be posting more noob-tard-diddily crap here as my first pc build begins soon. (cant afford a pre-fab dreamer) - Since im here though, i might as well POST something, right? Im lost in a power choice......i cant find info on how to determine a pwr. supply wattage amount  recommended for the config. im hoping to put together. The more crap i read, the more confusing things seem to get. In my own tard-terms....im lookin to run an AMD 3400, RAID HD's, a cold cathode or two, and a bunch of fans("bunch" being "tard" for 4 case fans, maybe more added later) sound card, yada, yada, blah, blah. Im looking at the enermax 470w. - do i need to step up to a delorean flux capacitor?
