New Nforce 2 Drivers
« on: May 22, 2003, 02:23:27 AM »
Just to let you know that if you have an Nforce based motherboard with the new chipset drivers; you may have some problems burning, or ripping stuff off of cds or dvds.  For instance, after I installed the new drivers, I wasted 3 DVDs because my computer would lock up while trying burn, so I would get only about 15% of the data.  Next I bought a CD and wanted to rip it to Mp3, my drive wouldn't even show up as a list of drives to use.  Once I reverted back to the previous drivers everything worked good.  So if you have an Nforce based motherboard maybe check it out before wasting 3 DVDs like me  :-/

Remember kids, if you happen to find yourself upside down and on fire, you've just discovered the meaning of "too fast".
