You can grab apache here http://apache.mirror.mcgill.ca/dist/httpd/binaries/win32/apache_2.0.44-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi

The documentation will come with the download as well.  I have only used apache under linux, so I'm not sure if they have a graphical configuration utility for windows or not.  If you have any questions feel free to ask.

If you guys want a program that sets up a web server with sql, and php support; Go to www.foxserv.net and grab the latest version.  Basically it sets up a working webserver with no problems at all.

Kool thanks for the info ill check it out just for fun this apache that ppl have told me is a small deal that packs alot i dont know to much as im learing but i havent had any problems with it so far slient in the background

IF you want just a simple web server, I've always liked abyss, can't remember the address but a google search will solve that. Abyss has some more advanced features too it, but I just liked it because it was very simple to use and it always worked great for me, it was super because all i really wanted to do was host a website or two on my server
