[Frontpage News]LCD Screen Burn?
« on: February 16, 2006, 11:57:30 AM »
You know that LCD monitor that you leave on without a screensaver?  Well you shouldn't.  It turns out that LCD's can suffer from image burn-in almost the same as CRTs.  Of course some models are more prone to it than others, but this is still some interesting stuff.  So remember to set your monitor to turn off after 15mins and go read this article.

Yes, its something I noticed on my NEC 1970GX. I changed a few things around on the desktoip and went to a blank screen saver. Seems OK now, thank the stars.
