Who has dealt with ATI for RMA?

I'm about to send my vid card off for repair to ATI, just wondering if anyone has had to deal with them before, and what kind of time frame until you got it back? Anything I should look out for?

I know Zeus has RMA'd several ATI products, but I don't know if it was straight to ATI or if it was to another vendor like Saphire.

What happened to your card?

I've sent a couple of mine back to ATI directly for RMA and they are amazing

both times I mailed them overnight, and they were back in about 3 days from the day I sent them, they mailed them both back airmail so it was super fast, according to their shipping records they received one of them at 8 in the morning, and by 11 they had the replacement shipped

It is a built by ATI card, and there are white lines all over the screen randomly, when going through POST and in Windows. I'm thinking something wrong with the RAM. Now just to wait for my RMA # and I'll get it sent out.

Since the death of my ATI card last night, I did a lot of reading about any issues ATI cards have with power.  I did read a lot about random artifacting going on and the culprit was usually low power to the card.  If you can, give it its own rail by itself and see if it clears up.  Other than that, it's probably going...  My card would randomly show white streaks across the screen, but would usually clear up after a re-boot.

It does have its own rail going to it. And it was going strong for about a year and half. Woke up one morning and it had all the lines on it. I'll first try a different rail to see if that clears up first though. Thanks for the tip.

Well I'm glad to say that only it only took 7 days to get my card sent to ATI, fixed and returned to me. I really didn't expect to see it this week, but kudos to ATI for the fast fix.

wow, I'm surprised they actually fixed it for you, the 2 times I RMA'd cards I just got a replacement

Thats the thing, I don't recall what the old serial number was on my previous card, and I thought that it might just be a replacement. Either way, I'm glad its working.
