I believe the only way to get a different "avatar" is to host them yourself, and link to them, most likely on some webspace that you have

Some free website providers will let you link to pictures on them, but i know that Geocities no longer allows that, and i can't think of any off the top of my head that still allow that

Probably your best bet if you are going to host them yourself is to upload them onto your telus accout

If you have a telus dial up account you have webspace on Telus' public server.  You can get to it by clicking here.

You will then need to provide your username and password of your telus account.

Put all of your files in the public_html directory, then link to them by linking to

I believe that all avatars here must be in the *.gif format.

I should probably start using my telus accout for hosting, although I forgot the password!!

Doesn't really bother me though , I have 15mb through the university so i just use that instead

You're definately welcome.  BTW, when you click the icons to format text and such, you have to place the
