Hello from Fragapalooza 2006
« on: July 27, 2006, 08:13:54 PM »
Good day all. This year for www.fragapalooza.com , I would have to say has been the smoothest network setup so far. I will let you know after the event if they were able to maintain the network.
The gift bags this year had a tone of stuff in it. I can now wear a new T-Shirts every day and a cool set of polarized Sunglasses.

Well back to the fun, only 3 more days of non-stop gaming to go.

I heard that MemoryExpress is the primary retail sponsor this year.  Are they involved with the network?  I hope things keep rolling smooth.  Keep us updated as far as events, prizes and such.

I woulda liked to even just go down and check things out, even if I don't participate, but I'm on holidays. Missed the Grand Prix and some of ED Fest. Kinda picked a crappy time to go away. Oh well.

I'll be rootin for ya BoneRak, bring home the gold!

Whoops, looks like my procrastination made me miss this year, guess theres always next year right?

Hopefully its not a +30 weekend with broken AC, and hopefully you don't get mugged by some 13 year old counterstrike player for your last bottle of bawls

Well I had fun in my tournament, but I did not win. My friend Def3kt won the $1500 Battlefield 2 tourney. They just put together a group of people sitting by us and swept the Battlefield clans under the rug. I even got to bump into an old clan mate on the streets of Edmonton. What's the chances of that? No power outages and the temperature is 23 Degrees Celsius. I even played this new game that I haven't played before called CS Source. It had this cool map calls Dusty or something. I will have to see if people play this game on the internet at all.

Glad you had fun, even though you didn't win. Having fun is more important than winning. Good to see the event ran smoothly as well.

And something tells me that people DO play this CS Source on the internet, and I'm pretty sure that the map Dust is played quite a lot.  :P  :D

I knew we shouldn't leave bonerak alone at a lan party, if we were there we would have never let him play CS
