I was quite impressed today with how well the server ran. At one point we had 8 people gaming and it was running quite smooth. I will leave it running as long as it gets used. Enjoy!

EDIT: We are hosting on a new IP instead of the old one. This new IP should have better bandwidth overall. We'll test it out tonight. The new IP is . . . 69.146.59.67 The server name is still BCCHardware

I would have been there tonight but we have a BCO kill match going on was a blast. If any of you ever get bored we have a 2142, BF2, and SF servers now. The BF2 and SF are ranked and the 2142 will be once full version is out.

that sounds like quite a threat there Marauding, I think we will have to get a clan together and organize a bit to make sure that doenst happen

If there is enough interest, I could probably host a server for BCC on one of my machines in either Texas or Chicago. I'm just setting up the chicago server next week ( NwN 2 server mainly, but theres lots of room and bandwidth ) so I could have it up and running probly within the week depending on how all goes with the server company. The texas IP is 72.232.217.218 for ping tests, but I think I would want to host a FPS on the chicago one for this area, will probably have much better pings.

Let me know if there is interest, I can toss it up when I get that server running.

Might have to check out the NW2 server that one game I want to get. Bad thing is I wont even be around for the 2142 release everyone will be better then me by the time i actaully own it. I heading to florida for couple week at end of Oct, I seem to time my trip every year to the the release of some big game.

I'll join in if I can manage to join the server. Each time I try to it says that I am unable to join it. I was playing with marauding demon on it earlier but it really badly lagged.

It was laggy earlier, but I think it smoothed up later on. I had no issues myself. Once Solton gets his server up, we'll have to sweet talk him into throwing on a BCCHardware server over there.

Well I tried joining at 9 and my ping was sitting at way over 500 so I don't know what was going on.

My ping was terrible at 9pm also. Although I tried it again at about 9:45 and things were much better. I have a little bit more reliable connection so I'm going to try and set one up tonight. I'll post the server details when it's up.

The game sucks. I downloaded the demo and it crashed. Some d3dx9_29.dll error. I have to go through a "genuine Microsoft Windows" test before I can download some DirectX update. Every Time I see a "Genuine Windows Validation" I feel like an innocent man getting a cavity search at an air port. It's got to be a crappy game if it won't run on Win XP64. What happened to the old days when the game would check to see what hardware you had then configured itself for it (Commander Keen Rocked!)

If you need the August DX Patch that fixes the issue, it can be downloaded from my FTP. I also hate the Windows Validation stuff.

ya i had the same prob.... downloaded the dx stuff from feb 6 and this solved it easy, and someone somewhere will always need to know what ppl are doing.....guns are not useful for this.... goto jail for doing something but put something in for ppl to find out what your doing invasion of privacy??? maybe not you get the point.... anyway the game was laggy for a bit then it ok later could be a game that i purchase.. along with ut2007
