[Frontpage News]Zalman ZM600-HP Heatpipe Cooled PSU
« on: December 15, 2006, 02:42:29 PM »

We have just posted up another (yes another) Zalman review.  Last shipment from them included a ton of products and this time around we have been playing with the Zalman ZM600-HP Power Supply.  This unit has a nice heatpipe inside to whisk the heat away from the toasty voltage regulators.  it is cooled by a large, slow 120mm fan and is lighted by a blue LED on the inside.  It is modular and has four, count 'em four, +12v rails to help your system remain rock stable - even under a large load.  Take a look and see how it fared throughout testing.

The Zalman ZM600-HP has been rock solid throughout testing.  Since we installed it, it's been running our test system overclocked at 100% CPU load most of the time.  It has never wavered at all.  The voltage on the +12v rails is solid and is about .5 volts high - even when we are drawing as much power as we can.  If you have a high-performance system that you want to keep quiet, the ZM600-HP is a worthy choice.

Please feel free to post any feedback regarding this review right here.  In the meantime, enjoy!!!   ;)
