Nicao has to fix a couple "bugs" and it will be ready to go.  He says that he'll be working on this tonight, so check back later, or tomorrow morning perhaps to see how things went.

Update: Done and done.  Spread the word!

Will the location that you guys are playing have Internet access? If so, I might be able to join the gameplay that way. The car won't be able to make it that far without the differential falling to pieces.  :tickedoff:

SWEET!!!!!! I'm in as of now unless something comes up.  These games are we going to do like the last LAN? 1/2 and 1/2. Is the BF2142 server going to have weapon unlocks or what you have done online?? Would like to have some rules on the games that we are going to play, the last game I don't have. As far as the sponsors isn't it kinda late to get the info to most of the good ones??  Looking at the last one some switches were lost in the mail  :-\. Also the ut game of the year why that pick kinda thinking about ut2004,although I think that I have it somewhere... lol. Maybe post on the fourms how the server is setup so ppl are not pouting when we get going   O0

BCCHardware is supplying the switches this time (They're already Here)

We've already put the word out to a few select sponsors (believe it or not, but we've been planning on and off since November). We have a few prizes already, and more are on their way. YAAAH for free stuff!

Internet is a maybe, but most likely we won't have any, so make sure you have all your drivers and stuff before you come

As for games, most likely if we have a good turnout, all 3 games could be playing at once, however I think we might have quick tourneys and stuff, in which I would assume majority of people would join in, unless you really don't like the game that is being played in the tourney

It is not too late to talk to sponsors - in fact it's a little early.  I approached some companies a few weeks ago, and they wanted us to let them know 3 weeks before the event.  There should be plenty of prizes.

The Servers are going to be set up so you can join and play.  After some practice we can set up some tournaments for fun.  Should be fairly basic.

I'm not sure, but perhaps you can get together with a buddy or two and make the trip down.  A couple of years back, Lobbdogg, SoltoN and a couple others came down from Edmonton.  I'm working on an internet sponsor, but only time will tell.

maybe we should talk to wildrose internet as a sponsor for a radio that is unlocked? fast downloads.... maybe not?? Just an idea    :). What I was getting at the server setup was this, BF2142 has basic weapons when you start then by playing you get better "unlocks", this lan party should or would be nice to level out the playing field so everyone can use the same type of weapons (I have a basic bf2142 server running at home and dont know all the commands to get this to run unlocked) I'm learning as I'm going..... Also thinking that these servers should have punkbuster or some type of anti cheat (not implying anything here) I know of a program called FFOLKS that unlocks everything but cant play online and found out that I had to reinstall BF2142 to get online again   >:D

What?  You have a month and a half warning!!! Surely you can get half a day off?  Even if you can't come until later on, you know that is really when we start gaming and everyone gets running.

the problem is that in february and march i'm gone from work for more than 2 weeks on a vacation with my dad. i doubt it would go well if i asked linda, yet again, for more time off because i've only started there recently and this isn't the first time i've asked for time off. i'd be willing to come afterwards but i probably wouldn't be able to get there until about 8.

If you've got some games installed before hand, you could still get in for a few good hours of gaming for sure.
