Unreal Tournament 3 Beta Impressions

Is it just me, or is this not the Fourth UT game made.  I recall the original Unreal Tournament (UT99), as well as UT2003, and UT2004.  Maybe I'm wrong. . .

Twitch Guru has a look at Unreal Tournament 3 in beta and gives us their thoughts as well as some new screenshots from their playing experience.  If you are waiting for this game, it's supposed to be released yet this year, but only time will tell. . .

Have to dig out the boxes I have all versions somewhere!! Ahhh unreal (orig 1998-99)only needed a p166 200MMx recommended, 16 meg ram, 32 recommended windows 95 sound card, and windows 95-98 lmao!!! Did install it once here on my current rig (really cheesy) but was great at the time......reading the box and manual now..... to funny!! Totally interested in the new version some of the videos that are on the net look to be good... cant wait for the demo if they release it..... But yes I think that this would be the fourth.....Unreal 2 could also be maybe added to this (game engine maybe)...    O0

UT2003 doesn't count cause it sucked, it was sorta like UT v1.5

I could never tell the difference between UT2K3 and UT2K4.  Both looked the same to me.  The only difference was the added game modes of 2K4. . .

There were only minor problems with UT2K3 I think. Biggest issues was vehicles and no sniper rifle...!
So they made UT2K4 and fixed those stuff.

I've done all three so far - no cheats, map changes or whatever.  Straight up good times.

I have both the original UT and UT 2004, but I never played the single player. I found it boring and long.
I prefered getting right into the action with a Instant Action, Team Deathmatch round  ;)
