Hi,
I've been into programming for a while befre the question about threading and multi-processors has taken me on a road trip. This article gives us an excellent overview into the quad and duo core processors.
If you could point me to more resoorces and links where i can get info on how we can take advantage of multi processors/ cores it would be really great.

If you need to know more about programming and multi-threaded stuff, I suggest you contact Nicao and check out this website.  He's our programmer and he also programs for a company in Calgary.

Welcome to the forums hangar18.  Multi-threaded programming is a topic of much debate in the programming world.  It can net big gains but it can also totally bug up your software if its not done in the right way with the right care.  May I ask what language you are programming in?  Are you interested in developing multithreaded apps or just finding some good ones to download?
