I have a windows rig I use mainly for gaming, but a little bit of design work as well. A friend of mine needs a box that he can use to run a small game server on while it is in the developmental stages for 4 or 5 hours a day, but needs full remote access to it (RDP). Since I'm either at work, or on my laptop more often than not lately, I wouldn't miss the bandwidth or cpu cycles, and want to donate my rig to him.
Heres my question. I want to partition off a 40GB disk for him, and have a fresh install of windows on there, but heres the key. Since I have clients work on my main drives, I don't want to give him access to all my files.
Is there a way to make a windows install only see the drive that it is mounted on, short of plugging in and unplugging drives when I want to get back to some of my other work files?
