Traded my 2700+ for a 2500+

Well I traded my 2700 for a 2500 straight across.  Mainly cause I wanted to do some serious OC'n.  My 2700 was decent but not quite enough.  B4 I had to lower the multi by one to achieve a 400 mhz FSB, but now the multi has stayed the same and the FSB is 400.   :)  I am very pleased with the overclockability of these chips.  Plus now I have 512k cache on L2.  :)  Another bonus.

2500 Bartons are nice you can really push them with good cooling.

I have a 2500+ water cooled and I have it massively over clocked to 2800+.. I need better RAM.

Two of the fish jumped out of their glasses and are no more. The other two saw what happens when you jump and I think they will stay put.

I've got my Barton 2500+ running at 2.25GHz Stable.  That is actually faster than an XP3200+, but my board reports it as a XP3000+.  A BIOS flash might fix that, but the EPoX 8K9A2+ is plagued with horrible BIOS's and this one is rocking as far as performance/stability/overclocking.

At these speeds, my core has maxed out at 42°C @ 1.75Volts.
