The Pirate Bay saga just won't end, the guys from Pirate Bay have become heroes to many and at every turn their doing something to attract more attention. For example they have not placed one of their servers that was confiscated during Police raids into a Swedish museum.  Probably not going to be the most exciting museum in the world, but I guess some of their fans will be. . .

It appears that they were found guilty, sentenced to 1 year in prison and a $4,500,000 fine.  More details at the BBC.  They are going to appeal of course and this could go on for a long time yet.

I'm a bit surprised that they were convicted, they seem to be cashing in on a lot of technicalities in a country that doesn't have all that strict copyright laws.

I'd like to know how much the government of Sweden has spent trying to prosecute these guys, I'm going to take a wild guess and estimate its more than 4,500,000.....
