Epi and I are practicing up for the UT3 tourny,  are we doing 2v2?  TAM?

I put in my vote for TF2 as an alternate game.  I'm not very good at it but I think it's pretty fun.

Last night I played some Unreal Tournament 3 TAM now known as Battle Team Arena (BTA).
It gave me goosebumps. I better get my server updated just in case it's needed.

That sounds great Fujitsu. Have you been practicing your moving shockcombo's on Facing Worlds?
You haven't? Man, we could have been something  :smitten: now they will never know.

I've been training like a mad man, here are a few of the ways that I am going to become the best teammate ever for "Team Bonerak"

Strict Diet: Only Red Bull and Subway in preparation.

Dedication: I get up by 11am every day so I can get a full day of training in, I've also shortened my afternoon naps from 3 hours all the way down to 1:45 to allow for more training.

More Dedication: I spend hours on servers where new players are and kill them time after time and have mastered the art of smack talk while doing it. I can now appropriately use the terms "N00b5", "P0wn", "BOOM Headshot", and "Hax0rs" and regularly slip numbers into words where there sh0uld be v0w3ls...

Equipment: I've ordered an original Boomslang mouse off ebay. I've also acquired a large quantity of isopropyl to keep the boomslang's ball nice and clean for opimal fragging.

Focus: I've memorized all the maps from every unreal game ever made, I could play them blindfolded now (and sometimes I do just for fun).

Appearances: I've gained 45 pounds and now only wear track pants to give myself more of a intimidating appearance in order to scare the competition. I have also ordered a nice wolf shirt off ebay to go with those track pants so I don't clash.

All your going to be hearing from my computer is "Headshot" and "MONSTER KILL" this year at VulcLAN. That is why you (Bonerak) need me on your team.

Hey just want to know if it was intentionally planned over the Easter week-end?  I know Good Friday is a day off of work, but its going to to be a no-go with the family.

Yes we know its Easter Weekend, however due to venue availability it was unfortunately our only choice for a weekend and due to our large power requirements we weren't able to go elsewhere. Hopefully for next year we can avoid having it on Easter weekend again.

Hmmm, too bad. I know myself and some other guys down here in Lethbridge simply cannot make it over Easter week-end. Oh well next year I guess.

Alright folks, VulcaLAN is approaching fast and here is the tentative schedule of festivities:

Thursday: 7pm - Doors officially open, setup starts, gaming will be a free-for-all format for the evening until doors close at 2am.

Friday: Doors open at 10am for the first day of gaming, UT3 Tournament will begin at 7pm. Gaming will go until 2am when the doors close.

Saturday: Doors open at 10am, COD4 Tourney will being at 1pm and will run until the evening. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 tourney will start at 8pm (assuming we are able to get it to work, if not, a different tourney will be scheduled). Doors close at 2am.

Sunday: Doors re-open at 10am, final prizes and closing will happen at 12pm (Noon), cleanup will follow the closing draws.

Quick Notes:

Please remember to bring a powerbar for your system, we will not have any extras for people and you will only be assigned 1 plug per person so you need a power bar!!!!!

If you have an extra extension cord please bring it, we can always use more cords so bring an extra if you can.

No speakers allowed for obvious reasons, its loud enough with 50 people in a room, we don't need speakers on top of that (bring headphones!)

Bring a mic, we will have teamspeak servers available so you can talk with your team if you are not sitting by them.

Bring your own food/drinks, we will not have a concession this year due to the low interest last year, so bring enough to last you the weekend!

Any players 14-years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

Players under the age of 18 will be required to leave at 12:00am (midnight).

Please make sure you've updated your games/computer, internet will be limited so you might not be able to do your downloading at the LAN party, you've been warned!

Thats about it for now, please let us know if you have any other questions
