Moixa USBCELL USB Rechargeable Batteries

We have just posted up our review of the Moixa USBCELL USB-rechargeable "AA" batteries.  This is a pretty innovative product as these batteries have a USB plug and charging circuitry built-in.  At the end of the day, they only fit in certain devices so they are not completely universal.  They are pretty interesting though so make sure to check out our review for all the details.

After charging, I used them in every AA device I had. I tested them in everything from a cordless beard trimmer to a flashlight. They lasted about 2 hours in trimmer, which isnít too bad as the trimmer eats batteries. Next I tried them in my AA mini-Maglite, but they would not fit as the cap is too large. . .

I think I've been playing with remote control batteries for too long. I forgot NiMH - Nickel Metal Hyrdride still existed. I like the idea of not needing the charger. Wonder how long they last in an xbox controller. I'm thinking how often I use the xbox, it would be 6 months..  ;D

USB rechargeable batteries look more like gimmick than anything I would say. They're pretty cool, though. Still, Eneloops pack much more value (even if they need a charger)

Dell sometimes has a sale of a 4-pack AA Eneloops + 2 AAA Eneloops + charger for $20. Now that's value.

Dell also has sale right now for 6xAA, 2xAAA, 2xC adapters, 2xD adapters for $16 bucks!
