VulcLAN 2011 Official! - March 18-20, 2011

It is official!  We will be LANing it up in Vulcan on March 18-20th!  Please stay tuned for more details.  Also check out www.vulclan.com for more information and registration (not yet open).

Note: Registration is now WIDE OPEN PEOPLE!!!

This is AMAZING!!!
There has been some interest in console gaming at VulcLAN and after talking with Samsung Canada they have agreed to ship us a couple of large HDTV's to use at the event!  This means that we will be doing some console gaming this year!!

Console gaming details are as follows:
We will be hosting either a 2v2 or 4v4 Halo: Reach tournament.  Thanks to Nicao for providing an Xbox 360 as well as Halo: Reach for one TV.  I will be providing the other.  This will be a sponsored tournament and we are working on Xbox specific prizes for this tournament.

If you would rather play some PS3 games, you may bring your own PS3 AT YOUR OWN RISK and connect it for play between the Tournament play for Halo: Reach.  If you want to bring your own console, you must contact zeus@bcchardware.com prior to the LAN for approval and details.

VulcLAN details will be updated as we go along, but we wanted to get the basic information and dates posted so you can all start registering.  Please note that there will be an extra draw (and a good'er) for those who pre-register and pre-pay.  Thanks!

Well Bonerak, I must stringently contest your claim to a UT3 tournament victory.  I think you're forgetting once again the potent and highly organized team play of Nicao and Epi.  As for COD, if you can take any kind of satisfaction from winning a game where it is considered clever and skillfull to hide out in a basement for the duration and shoot the enemy as they (finally) come down the stairs, you're welcome to it.  lol!  At the risk of offending my cousins further, I'll leave it at that!!

Wow, is it that time of year again?  I'm there, not so sure about Epi though.  Maybe he's scared of defending his title against BoneRak and Echo. Might have room for one more in the van on the way down if anyone needs a ride.

My favourite time of year too and it beats Christmas  :laugh: Lookin forward to it. No problem Dissaray, just let me know if you need a ride and kick Adam hard if he doesn't go too. BTW, staying patient and trigger alert long enough to get a kill at the bottom of a stairwell is nervewracking and takes skill and dedication. I find it much easier to keep moving.  :P
