another thing for people to try and remember to bring is power bars and extension cords, even with all the new breakers there may be people who will need extension cords, so if you have one bring it, cause every party we are always running around trying to find them

Hey Seeker, one recommendation I have for the server is to install TTM  v2.1. http://www.planetunreal.com/ttm/  TTM 2003 is a competition mod for Unreal Tournament 2003. This mod gives you  map-voting, warmup times that are great for practicing different weapons, accuracy and weapon pickup stats.  And above all of that it has bright skins and hit sounds (my favorite). After you played with bright skins, you will not want to go back to playing blind.

Looks like I'll be making an appearance in the afternoon for a short while.  I won't be staying for too long, because I have to work at 5 pm saturday.  See you then.  What patch for UT2K3 again?

Lobbdogg,

We will be using the latest patch 2225.  It doesn't require a nocd patch or a cd in the drive to play.  If you don't have time to snag it, it will be up on the intranet.

You should be able to keep the mapvote on as the one in TTM can be disabled. But the other features would still be there.
I'm going to give you guys a chance this time. I'll play on an LCD monitor! Eazy to carry to a lan party. But bad for game play.

Good games everyone.
Big props go out to Seeker for the great server. A few buggy maps, but other than that everything worked great. Thanks for letting me try to get TTM up an running :)

TTM looks cool, we'll have to get it up and running before the LAN next time though.  Good job Seeker.  Thanks to all who came out: Lobbdogg, {lu}illusion, & Howdy Duty especially.  It's always great to have new people come to the LAN!

Great LAN party.  Sorry I had to leave early,  I usually stay till the last dog.   Thanks to everyone who cam out.   Thanks to Thread's In Motion power upgrade we had no power problems.  Special thanks to Seeker for bringing the server out,  it went well for a first time lan server.   Looking forward to the next one.

Hmmm good question. I remove maps and textures the old fashioned way. I uncomress the zipped file of the map into a sepperate directory then look for those files on my server. And also remove them from my rederect too. No I do not know of an easier way to do it. It's kinda like an STD. The more things you try, the more things get left behind and slow you down.
