This event has LIMITED seating and we have sold out every major LAN event from prepay alone.

Project X: Awakening! is the much anticipated followup event to our sold out success 'Project X: Redemption!'. The theme and name behind Awakening is to raise awareness of the Canadian LAN party scene. This event will be taking place at the 'Bowness Sportsplex' located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. At 'Awakening!' we will be tying in a unique balance of PC Gaming, Arcade gaming as well as some special extras including a lounge area, Live music, guest speakers, theater area and much more.

Here are some of the details:
Date: July 27 -29, 2012
Attendance: 300+
Location: Bowness Sportsplex, 7904 43 Ave NW, Calgary
Cost: $20 PrePay, $60 @ the door.

We are also working with "Canada Cup" and will have a series of Arcade tournaments available as well (Street fighter 4, marvel vs capcom etc).

We will be awarding custom trophies to the top placing teams and providing the first 200 prepaid & registered attendees with a custom dog tag with your username on it!!

Wait- this event falls on your vacation time as well?? Well.. I haven't plugged it yet on here but we are doing another LAN party lite event May 12-13.

Project X Awakening  replace with "Again" promoting and promoting good call... your promoting to actual responses to real questions on here are very limited.... I'll even let you make the call on that... but I guess its a  free area to promote your LAN......  still have not answered my question is anybody form this Project X comming for Vulclan?? I don't see anywhere on your website promoting BCChardware or Vulclan.... all I see is "me" "me" "me"

Not sure if you guys are aware but we are promoting VulcLAN in our community section on our website and if you click on it it shares even more information. If you wanna come up to the major event and do a plug we're fine with that. Wanna help run an aspect of the event? Just let us know! We'd enjoy having some more local veterans at the event. We are one of Calgary's most active LAN party groups & we host an event of some kind every single month.

Seeker, I am unaware of anyone coming down to this upcoming VulcLAN however we'd like to come check it out when it works for everyone's schedule. (Perhaps we should conspire on dates Zeus) As I said in the previous post to your question..  I (one of the head organizers) can't make it out as I am working Saturday & it is my Birthday Sunday in which I have other obligations. I attempted to get both days off from my current work contract  however it didn't work out that way.  Hopefully that answers your question to your satisfaction.

Thanks for promoting us ProjectX!  We had a good turnout and a lot of fun.  Numbers were down a bit as a few people got called into work, and had to miss out on some epic tourney's.  Still, it was a great time.  Thanks to EVERYONE for coming out!

Sponsor update: The PEREGRINE company will be coming on board to sponsor the League of Legends tournament and contributing over $2,000 in prizes.

Psyko Audio, FrozenQ & Gigabyte will also be supporting the event with an assortment of swag.

It would be great to meet up! The great thing about these bigger events is that there is more casual game play throughout the weekend.
