Samsung 1701MP Review
« on: January 11, 2004, 07:46:57 PM »
I've just finished up a review of a Multi-Purpose 17" Samsung SyncMaster 1701MP LCD.  This unit boasts S-Video input, RCA input, TV-Tuner/Antenna Input, and a standard 15-pin VGA connector.  You can read the review over here.

Here's a clip in the meantime:
"The S-Video input on this LCD is simply amazing. The monitor has a very wide viewing angle, and when I plugged the S-Video into it, my wife, who was across the room, commented immediately that it was a lot clearer picture than our 25" TV. Even up close, the picture is clear, and the colors are vibrant and quite beautiful."

Please feel free to post any questions or comments right here.

It does not.  The software CD, had generic drivers and "Natural Color" setup.  The 1701MP does not support TV Windowed.  The 171MP does.

I am surprized that that LCD doesn't support it...why have it function as a TV screen if you cann't watch TV in a window.....I was also dissapointed to see that the LCD did not have a digital imput for PC use...
