Topic: Got my Half Life 2 coupon

As some of you know the ATI XT cards include a coupon to get Half Life 2 for free when it is released.  I was able to get one because my dad upgraded his card to a 9600 XT, and he doesn't like FPS, so he gave me the coupon.

Nice.  Now all you have to do is wait. . . and wait. . . and wait.  It sure sucks that people ripped off and played with the source code.  Hacks like that ruin it for everybody.

With it being delayed so much it seems like people have stopped caring about it, its sorta funny because it was about all that everyone was talking about, and now you don't hear a peep

Hopefully its decent when it comes out, cause if it isn't people won't be so happy

Exactly I almost don't really care about it anymore, I mean great when it comes out and all but I'm not holding my breath.  From the sounds of things it sounds like Doom 3 might be gettin closer to release.  These are the two games I've really been waiting for for the longest time.

unfortunately there aren't really many games I am waiting for, probably the one I am most excited about is BF1942:Vietnam

Those game companies @#$@#$@#$ I will believe it when I walk into Future Shop and see it on the counter....anything less is just hype.

EA has got to be the most famous for that though, I don't remember the last time they said a game was coming out and it actually did

I was originaly waiting for half-life 2 but after a while of waiting i completely forgot about it. i am looking foward to games that actually will come out like bf:vietnam(the site is up now, you can access it through the bf:1942 site) which i read a paragrph or two on. it said it shouldcome out in the next couple of months or so.
