Boards and Chip
« on: February 18, 2013, 11:13:30 PM »
If you are looking for a new Intel board, there are so many great choices out there.  The days are past when one company makes the stand-out board that is a must-have.  Gigabyte's own Z77X-UD4H is a great board that won't break the bank but offers a lot in the way of features and performance.  You don't have to have a large board to pack in the features either.  The ASRock Z77E-ITX Mini-ITX motherboard has a lot of features for a board that will fit in a toaster.

On the AMD side of things, it's a little different in some ways, but the quality and features are still there.  ASRock's 990FX Extreme9 Motherboard has a ton of features and can support a total of four PCIe devices for some pretty crazy CrossFireX gaming.

If you are on a budget and want to power your AMD system, the Bulldozer FX-4130 is a great choice.  It's cheap, pretty fast and runs cool.
