Motorola X-Phone Rumor Roundup
« on: July 15, 2013, 10:13:56 PM »
Well, well.  It appears that it only took Google a couple of years after the acquisition of Motorola to remember that they actually bought a mobile phone company.  The MotoX is coming and if you believe Verizon's roadmap, the new device could be here as soon as August 23.  That's just a little more than a month away to get your hands on a device that Eric Schmidt himself has been playing with for the last few weeks.  If you believe everything you hear, the phone will have a 1.7GHz Dual-Core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 720p OLED display and 16GB of storage.  It's not a top-tier phone, but it should be pretty affordable.

Google plans to spend around $500 million to market the Moto X, reports the Wall Street Journal. Alleged to be light on bloatware, the phone will be centered around user-defined preferences and custom designs.Source: CNET
