Hotmail = ARGHHHH

somedays I hate the internet, today is one of those, mostly because my hotmail is constantly piled completely full of spam

does anyone still have a hotmail account?? and if you do, what do you do to make it tolerable??

I really hate to delete mine as I've had it for years and years and years and years (I think around 7) so I sorta hate to give it up ( I had mine before microsoft bought it, ah yes, the good days)

That is one of the reasons why I never did get a hotmail account.  Sorry I dont' know of anything to filter out the spam.

I used to have a hotmail account, but about 2 years ago, the spam got so bad that I couldn't stand it. . . I can't imagine what it is like now.

Fujitsu, if you need a different e-mail addy, and one that is apparently filtered (I'm not sure how good, but it seems to be working ok) let me know, and I can set you up with one.

yah, I think I am going to have to do something about it, I get around 100 spam e-mails a day, but I still hate to give it up

I have a hotmail account too and I get only about one spam email a month! Thats only because hotmail won't let me block admin@hotmail.com
I have mine set up so only people on my trusted list can send me mail. So if you have a @telusplanet.net account. I'll get it. If you have an @home.com account... well too bad I never wanted to talk to you anyways. I could add individual account to the trusted list too, not just the domain.
This way I can keep registering on forums and get my password mailed to me with out having to worry about the 100+ emails I got before I blocked the world.

yah I have almost come to that point where I am going to do that, only problem is that sometimes I don't know where the e-mail is going to come from (I sell stuff on ebay), so pretty much I'm screwed both ways
