Since most of us here at BCCHardware enjoy "seeing what's inside" of the latest and greatest pieces of technology, the hardware teardown of the Surface Pro 2 sparked our interest. First time around the Surface Pro wasn't the easiest to repair and without spoiling too much of the surprise, the Surface Pro 2 has some unfortunate similarities.

We knew that Microsoft's Surface Pro 2 tablets wouldn't stray too far from the original Surface Pro design - but according to the tool-and-part masters at iFixit, the new tablets are virtually identical to the old ones – meaning they're just as difficult to repair.
