Monday Graphics Card Action
« on: December 08, 2013, 11:56:09 PM »
As we kick off the week in hardware and tech news, we've got a few graphics card review to get out of the way. There are new cards for every budget on the market right now and performance for the dollar is pretty high. HardwareHeaven has a look at some entry-level cards as they look at the XFX R7 240 & R7 250 cards and put them up against the GT 640 and GT 630 cards. There are all very affordable and the performance is much better than integrated graphics.

Meanwhile, CustomPCReview takes a look at a couple of different R9 270 cards. The first one is the MSI R9 280 Gaming 2GB card that performs quite well and won't break the bank. They step things up a small margin with the PowerColor Devil R9 270X 2GB card. The difference between these two cards is simply clock speed of the core clock as all otehr specs look pretty much the same.

Finally, TweakTown has the VistionTek Radeon R9 280X 3GB card on their bench. They put this card through a ton of benchmarks and have a lot of great cards for comparison. You'll know exactly what you're getting and how it stacks up to the competition after you check out this review.
