Intel Bay Trail-based USB Stick Runs WIndows 8
« on: October 19, 2014, 08:38:25 PM »
Intel has dabbled in the hardware business over the years and their latest device is a glorified USB stick that runs full-on Windows 8.1. This device is really the ultimate streaming stick and when it is priced at $100, it will sell like hotcakes at a cowboy festival. It won't be the fastest thing on the market, but it should be enough for an eMachine or streaming machine.

The USB stick is just under 100mm long and is packed with a quad core Intel Atom CPU running at 1.7 GHz. Other specifications of the device include 1 GB DDR3 RAM, 2 MicroUSB ports, 1 HDMI port, 16 GB and 32 GB storage options, a memory card slot, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.Source: Neowin, Alibaba
