Bills Goal for the Next 40 Years of Microsoft
« on: April 05, 2015, 07:47:01 PM »
Microsoft is 40 today. There are many companies that don't make 40 before they perish, but Microsoft has come a long way. A couple of years ago, many people wondered what Microsoft was doing and if they'd be around much longer, but Satya Nadella has really helped push the company in directions that make a lot of sense. While Microsoft had dreams of putting PCs in every home, Bill Gates wants the company to think about homes where technology isn't accessible or affordable. Connect the whole world. It could be done.

Early on, Paul Allen and I set the goal of a computer on every desk and in every home. It was a bold idea and a lot of people thought we were out of our minds to imagine it was possible. It is amazing to think about how far computing has come since then, and we can all be proud of the role Microsoft played in that revolution.Source: AfterDawn
