Android App Pick - TuneIn Radio Pro

We have just posted up our 22th App Pick of the Week and this time we get our groove on with TuneIn Radio Pro.  If you missed the $0.10 App Week, this app will set you back $0.99, but it's totally worth it.  The Pro version adds a bunch of great features including rewinding, recording, pausing and more.  Check it out and if you can't afford the Pro version, there is an ad-based version available as well - with less features.

ROCCAT Power-Grid App Coming

ROCCAT liked the idea of the Razer Blade laptop so much that they decided to make a touchscreen interface application for your iPhone/Android that allows you to use in-game macros, monitor your PC, manage Teamspeak, Facebook, Skype and Twitter - all from your phone.  This app looks to be free, but will be released in beta first to iOS after CeBIT, then Android around Gamescom 2012.  It looks pretty awesome.  The full press release is at the "Read More" link below.

AMDs Sweet Spot - 7870 & 7850

AMD is not resting and they've just dropped the NDA on their mid-range cards - now tagged in the 78xx series.  The question arising from the reviews is does the 7870 make the more expensive 7950 obsolete already?  Take a look below at the reviews to find out.

Alienware M14x

PCPerspective has a look at the Alienware M14x as they try and give portable gaming another go.  This laptop has some pretty great features - including a "Sandy Bridge" Quad-Core i7 CPU, a 750GB 7200rpm drive and a nice 1600x900 screen.  I love the USB 3.0 feature as well as DisplayPort, HDMI & VGA.  See how it performs with the NVIDIA GT 555 inside.

Having a big frame gives the M14x plenty of room for connectivity. Two USB 3.0 ports are included, as well as an additional USB 2.0 port. Display connections include Mini-DisplayPort, HDMI and VGA while audio is handled by two audio-out ports and an audio-in/microphone port. Ethernet and a 9-in-1 card reader are made available as well.

Terrafugia Roadable Aircraft

We showed you some preliminary video of the flying car a while back, but now it has actually flown and is being debuted at the New York Auto Show.  The beauty of this is not the sleek design (it has none), but the fact that it can do both - is road-legal and is available for pre-order.  I opted for the Mass Effect 3 pre-order as the car/plane will set you back $279,000.
